Tree/Houses

I made some things that are kind of like sculpture. There are really five different pieces here and they are designed to be looked at from all sides. But there isn't a place big enough to show them properly in the house. And they are kind of hard to move around. Ingredients are cardboard boxes, gesso, acrylic paint, wire, clay, candy, antique dishes, pecan branches, costume jewelery, cork, glass, fabric, ribbon, plastic knife, and knick-knacks.

There is a sixth that I didn't photograph, which involves putting a large branch in one of those hispanic votive candles that you buy when you're praying for something in particular (in this case, a better job) and filling all the gaps in the branch with used nicorette gum. It's not made out of a box, though, so I didn't include it. It is the beginning of what I will do with all these hundreds of used pieces of nicorette gum.......
